OUR METHODOLOGY OF CONTINUITY PLANNING

Coordinated Consulting Services (CCS) assists government, non-profits, and private organizations with continuity planning, so they are better equipped to strategically respond to business interruptions while continuing to provide essential services. CCS follows a consistent method of information gathering that informs the steps within business continuity planning for your organization. CCS continuity planning takes an all-hazards approach so your organization can be prepared for an anticipated business disruption or unforeseen incident. CCS will meet with your subject matter experts, leadership, and staff within various departments or divisions to identify and prioritize essential functions. CCS utilizes a custom business impact analysis (BIA) process that collects data on essential functions and processes, analyzes and organizes the data, documents resources to support essential functions, and produces a concise and effective Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

ELEMENTS OF CONTINUITY PLANNING

An organization’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP), also known as a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), identifies essential services, functions, and positions to maintain business operations under a broad range of emergencies. A benefit to completing a BCP or COOP is having a visual aid that assigns critical resources to support the essential services and functions. Our collaborative planning process within your organization focuses on “The 4 S’s”: Staff, Space (Facilities), Systems (Information Technology and Communications), and Stuff (Equipment and Supplies). This plan will ensure that organizations can resume prioritized essential functions within 24 hours and up to 30 days after disruption. The BCP may be used to address a variety of situations, including loss or damage to a facility, loss and shortage of staff, loss of communication and technology systems, and the need for telework or remote operations.

CONTINUITY PLANNING SERVICES

Whether it is to protect your bottom-line product or continue to provide vital public services to the community, CCS offers several types of continuity planning services. We can update, revise, and rewrite an existing plan or create an entirely new plan for your organization. CCS develops Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) utilizing data from Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and hazard vulnerability assessments (HVAs).

Lastly, CCS recognizes the incredible impact COVID-19 has had on almost every industry and sector. CCS can help your organization update or develop new business continuity plans, improving organizational readiness in response to this worldwide pandemic.
