From the moment we engaged with Coordinated Consulting Services, it was evident that we were dealing with a team of professionals who are deeply knowledgeable, skilled, and passionate about emergency preparedness. Their commitment to helping healthcare organizations like ours achieve a high level of readiness was truly impressive.

One aspect that truly stood out was their commitment to conducting realistic and engaging exercises. They designed and executed simulated emergency scenarios that tested our organization, as well as over 200 member facilities, and over 3000 individual participants response capabilities. These exercises were meticulously planned, incorporating various stakeholders and providing invaluable hands-on experience. The team at CCS ensured that each exercise was tailored to our unique circumstances, allowing us to identify areas of improvement and refine our emergency response protocols. Furthermore, the communication and coordination exhibited by the CCS team were exceptional. They were highly responsive, attentive, and receptive to our questions, concerns, and suggestions.

We are happy to provide a testimonial for the excellent work done by Coordinated Consulting Services, LLC (CCS) on two projects for Clackamas County.

First, the CCS team undertook the challenge of creating an After Action Report (AAR) for the Clackamas County COVID-19 response, assessing over 2 years of work across multiple departments and disciplines. Throughout the development of the report they diligently engaged leadership, staff, and community partners to ensure a comprehensive and insightful report celebrating successes and highlighting opportunities for improvement. Their fluency in Public Health Emergency Preparedness Capabilities and FEMA Core Capabilities was invaluable in creating a report that was applicable and actionable for both Public Health and Disaster Management. We are grateful for their dedication to delivering a high-quality report that will enhance future response efforts.

Second, CCS facilitated an outstanding Mass Fatality Management Workshop. They skillfully engaged the planning committee and coordinated the presentations, resulting in a well-organized and insightful day of training for Mass Fatality response staff from a variety of disciplines and jurisdictions. Despite the challenging subject matter and diverse audience, they succeeded in facilitating an organized and engaging day of in-person presentations and discussion.  CCS prioritized creating a welcoming environment fostering open dialogue, resulting in a stronger shared understanding of Mass Fatality response protocols and valuable insight for future fatality management collaborations, trainings, and exercises.

The CCS team was a pleasure to work with. Apryl, Andrew, Tina, Nancy, and Diane demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, experience, and knowledge in their fields. Their commitment to delivering high-quality projects was evident throughout our collaboration. They consistently offered innovative ideas, showed efficiency and adaptability, and went above and beyond to ensure project success.

I have had the opportunity to have known and worked with Ms. Tina Wesoloskie since 2002 when she was working for Az Dept of Health Services.  It was not long after that, maybe in the same year, that I met and worked with Ms. April Lawless, who was also working with ADHS way back then.

In 2009-2010 Ms. Lawless was very instrumental in helping La Paz Co. Health Dept gain National Recognition for its Project Public Health Recognition. Her work helped us gain recognition on our very first submission!

Jumping ahead a few years, as we reached the midway point of COVID, we reached out to Coordinated Consulting Service, which April Lawless had started a few years prior, to again team up with April and Tina with a disparities grant which is helping people recover from the effects of COVID trauma.

Their knowledge, insight, professionalism, in providing and ensuring grant benchmarks are met, assisting with thousands of pages of data from surveys, supporting documents for financial reports, and always being available, has enabled us to provide an even greater outreach to our county’s citizens and visitors!

The La Paz Co Health Dept (Az) Community Health Workers program, our Opioid Education and Outreach program would not be where they are today without the tremendous help and leadership of Ms Lawless, Ms Wesoloskie and the others at CCS!

Coordinated Consulting Services led Mercy Corps through the process of completing a thorough Business Continuity Plan, including detailed Business Impact Analysis reports, Essential Functions determination, a phased Business Continuity procedure and detailed, custom toolkits. Mercy Corps relied on CCS as an invaluable partner during the entire process leading up to our published plan. CCS continued to work with us to implement and monitor the plan during the real-life major business disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic, including mid-response reviews leading to an actionable Improvement Plan, ensuring continuous improvement in Mercy Corps’ ability to respond to unforeseen events. CCS earned our trust by providing deep experience, complete expertise, meticulous analysis and a positive, can-do partnership. We wholeheartedly recommend Coordinated Consulting Services.

Last year our organization worked with Coordinated Consulting Services to conduct a Business Impact Analysis (BIA). April and her staff were very committed to meeting our needs and brought a wealth of expertise to the BIA process. Shortly after that experience, we decided to work with Coordinated Consulting Services again to develop our Continuity of Operations Plan. Again, April and her team brought their expertise to the project and completed a customized COOP for our organization. The end product is not only a plan that meets the required planning standards for our organization, but a document that captures the intricacies of our organization’s work.

Coordinated Consulting Services is a wonderful agency to work with! I worked closely with Tina, Andrew, Nancy, Diane, and Sarah for nine months to create Nevada’s new Pandemic Response Plan, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The entire CCS team worked tirelessly to create this plan, spending many weeks reviewing, and incorporating feedback from all stakeholders involved in the planning process while also scheduling regular meetings with our team to check-in on the plan progress. They maintained a stable timeline, always met deadlines, and were incredibly positive and thoughtful throughout the entire process. I am very appreciative of the hard work they put into the creation of this plan; it would not have been a success without them. I would highly recommend working with CCS to meet your agency’s needs.

Emily Gould, Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Public Health Preparedness Program

I worked with Coordinated Consulting Services for almost two years on our statewide project, Nevada Crisis Standards of Care. The Coordinated Consulting Services (CCS) team was exceptionally fantastic in meeting deadlines, coming well-prepared for both public and private meetings with stakeholders, communication with me and my team, and following through with their commitments. It is in large part because of the CCS team that Nevada now has a “best practices” Crisis Standards of Care Plan, as recognized by our federal and other state partners. I would absolutely work with CCS again on any project – large or small. Excellent customer service and project management capabilities.

Malinda Southard, Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Public Health Preparedness Program

Coordinated Consulting Services worked with my team to produce a Business Impact Analysis for our organization. CCS staff were able to plan and manage this difficult project to a successful conclusion on-time and on-budget. I greatly appreciated the deep experience and professionalism of the people that were assigned to my contract, and the end product exceeded my expectation. I would absolutely consider CCS for a similar project in the future!

Many thanks to April and her very capable team! Our health department successfully achieved Project Public Health Ready recognition. April and her team not only assisted with the application and organization, but in those areas where we had not documented our response plans, they also came up with excellent examples and plans that we were able to adapt and use. I highly recommend them!

Sue Mohnkern, Washington County Health and Human Services

I have utilized Coordinated Consulting on several occasions to write emergency preparedness plans for our rural Southern Arizona County and am always impressed with their level of professionalism and dedication. Most recently they provided our Public Health Threat and Hazards Identification Risk Assessment which was so well researched, thorough, and locally applicable that it received the highest recognition among our state-wide partners. We are very excited to be working with April and her team of professionals on other planning initiatives as we move forward. And once again; you folks are the best!

Elizabeth Lueck, Cochise County Health Services

Coordinated Consulting Services provided a great service to our government. The staff at CCS is extremely knowledgeable and flexible. On many occasions, on site meetings had to be rescheduled due to weather emergencies and CCS went above and beyond to provide alternative solutions. In the end, we are very pleased with their expertise and product. I would recommend them to anyone in need of planning assistance.
